Massage is not just a profession to me. It is the work I have devoted most of my life to, and work I genuinely love.

How I came into the profession

My professional path started with an education in physical culture and sport. I graduated from the Kyiv University of Physical Culture as a sports coach. Working with the body, with movement and with the physical condition of another person was always close to me.

In time I realised that what draws me most is the chance to help someone directly through hands-on work. So I completed professional massage training at the institute of physical culture and began working as a massage therapist.

Kyiv: fitness clubs and athletes

In Kyiv I worked in fitness clubs and spent many years developing as a massage specialist. My clients included well-known athletes and public figures in Ukraine. Over the years, Olympic champion Kateryna Serebrianska, the celebrated Ukrainian tennis player Andriy Medvedev and other well-known people trusted me with their physical condition.

Throughout those years I kept studying and widening my knowledge. I trained in Eastern massage techniques, Spanish massage techniques and other modern methods. Today I work with more than 30 styles and techniques of massage, and I know how to tailor the work to the individual person, their condition and their goals.

A new chapter — Cyprus

After the war in Ukraine began, our family moved to Cyprus. Here I decided not to start life from scratch but to continue the work I love and create a space where I could bring together all of my professional experience.

That is how Kinesio Studio appeared — a kinesiotherapy and massage studio in Larnaca.

Today my work combines massage, kinesiotherapy, movement and assessment. What matters to me is not temporarily removing an unpleasant sensation, but understanding why the body arrived in this state and what can be changed. I keep learning, mastering new methods and looking for more effective ways of working with the body.

Why I love this profession

Because behind every body there is a person with their own story.

I love seeing someone who came in with pain, stiffness or restricted movement gradually start moving more freely, feeling more confident and returning to their normal life.

I genuinely love helping people. My family sometimes jokes that I want to help everyone and cure the whole world. That is probably my defining trait — it truly matters to me that a person feels better.

I love my profession, I love working with my hands, I love movement and I never stop learning.

For me the best result is not simply the absence of pain. It is when a person feels their body again, begins to trust it and comes back to an active life.

What the first visit looks like

The first visit is always a conversation and an assessment. I ask what is bothering you, for how long and what you have already tried, I watch how you move and I carry out muscle testing. You leave with more than a session: with an understanding of what exactly is not working in your body and in what order to fix it.

Sessions are held in Russian and English.
